Our lives are s filled with tech and all things that are not natural and so for me, being in nature and painting nature helps to bring back the balance of what being human feels like. Like poetry, painting can convey so many ideas and emotion with the very little information. This is why I love abstract art so much - it's an opportunity for the mind and emotions to subjectively fill in the rest of the story. My hope is that the viewer experiences what I experience when I paint. I work mainly with oils and acrylic. I've been a professional artist for 13 years and I've exhibited in galleries in Cape Town, Johannesburg and London. I live with my husband and son in Fisherhaven, Hermanus, where we grow our won food and live off grid.
