I discovered the magic of watercolour at the very beginning of my artistic journey. It has stayed with me and has evolved from purist to mixed media on canvas. I try to capture the essence of the subject rather than just a visual copy. I have exhibited solo and in groups, displayed in my own galleries in Tulbagh  and Greyton,my work has traveled to many countries.

My choice of subject varies greatly from old buildings,landscape’s,seascapes,birds, trees and flowers sometimes realistically sometimes abstract. My use of colour is ethereal and soft.

I live with my husband Dave and my daughters family on their farm overlooking the small village of Baardskeerdesbos
